Custom peptide synthesis: define the project before production

PeptideVaultPro supports custom sequence, terminal group, modification and purification projects. OEM, ODM, CRO and CDMO routes are assessed against the intended use, technical specification and destination market. Projects begin with a feasibility review rather than a fixed promise of dose, capacity, purity or lead time.

Development scope

  • Sequence and identity
  • Counter-ion and salt form
  • Purification and analytical scope
  • Sample and pilot quantities
  • Production transfer records

What to include in your brief

Provide sequence or structure file, terminal groups, modification positions, intended application and target quantity. Identify which parts are fixed and which are open for development. Attach an existing specification or reference sample description when available. State who will approve the formulation, analytical plan and artwork.

Sampling and evaluation

The technical discussion covers sequence identity and impurity profile, analytical method selection and how reference samples will be retained. A sample plan should identify the questions it needs to answer, acceptance criteria and the records required for the next decision. Changes to the material, process or package should be tracked rather than treated as interchangeable.

Moving toward commercial supply

Validate synthesis feasibility, purification strategy and reproducibility before committing to a commercial specification. Agree the document set, batch identification, primary and secondary packaging, quotation scope and delivery assumptions in writing. The offered site and certificate scope must match the project.

Choose the support route

A defined formulation or format with a private-label and packaging brief.

ODM

Joint product-format and formulation development with agreed ownership.

CRO

A defined research work package with methods, deliverables and reporting.

CDMO

Development, pilot work and manufacturing transfer with agreed release criteria.
