Pen-device project development: define the project before production
PeptideVaultPro supports pen components, mechanical compatibility, presentation and coordinated development. OEM, ODM, CRO and CDMO routes are assessed against the intended use, technical specification and destination market. Projects begin with a feasibility review rather than a fixed promise of dose, capacity, purity or lead time.

Development scope
- Component selection
- Mechanical compatibility
- Assembly and packaging review
- Prototype evaluation
- Project documentation coordination
What to include in your brief
Provide intended market, device component drawings or reference sample, formulation boundary, packaging and testing requirements. Identify which parts are fixed and which are open for development. Attach an existing specification or reference sample description when available. State who will approve the formulation, analytical plan and artwork.
Sampling and evaluation
The technical discussion covers mechanical fit, component materials, supplier records and the testing responsibilities of every project participant. A sample plan should identify the questions it needs to answer, acceptance criteria and the records required for the next decision. Changes to the material, process or package should be tracked rather than treated as interchangeable.
Moving toward commercial supply
Validate the device and formulation responsibilities separately. A packaging concept is not clinical evidence or regulatory approval. Agree the document set, batch identification, primary and secondary packaging, quotation scope and delivery assumptions in writing. The offered site and certificate scope must match the project.
Choose the support route
OEM
A defined formulation or format with a private-label and packaging brief.
ODM
Joint product-format and formulation development with agreed ownership.
CRO
A defined research work package with methods, deliverables and reporting.
CDMO
Development, pilot work and manufacturing transfer with agreed release criteria.
